First day of Ski Trip

So last night we started loading the charter bus at about 9:30 pm. Before we started driving I did the usual check keys, phone and my wallet. Sure enough it wasn't in my back pocket so I run franticly around the church looking at every place I had been and no luck. I was hoping it was under the charter bus cause I loaded the luggage but I couldn't check till we got to Colorado. Cody and Elizabeth said they would let me borrow some money (I've been referring to Elizabeth as Ma when I need some cash flow).

The bus drive was a blast. We watched August Rush and try to make the long long drive fun. Sleeping was the worst. I was curled up on two seats with no pillow or blanket with people all over the floor. I slept about four hours total.

We finally pulled into Durango after about 14 hours of being in a bus. we stopped and walked around Durango got some food and watched Mckevin try to jump from one rock to another in the river, which was an impossible distance but we encouraged him anyways like good friends should.

Went to the snow board rental place and got our boards and skis. We played a mean game of hacky sack while waited at Best Western. We actually had a chance to snow board behind Best Western. We made a sweet jump and we were actually getting air. It was a blast.

Around seven we met and ate pizza and started playing some games. We later played Battle of the Sexes and the men dominated. Afterwards I came into my room to see the three 8th graders I'm bunking with were sound asleep. I was pretty happy considering I thought they would be up all night.

Anyways I didnt mean for this to be so long. I'll update tomorrow.
